Extra 5 / 12 · Uncertainty

Shared and separate uncertainty

Two quantities are each described as “about one cup.” The description alone does not say they have the same volume. Subtracting one quantity from itself is a different operation.

What is checked, and where this example stops

Closed affine support reads yield [90,110], [0,0] and [−20,20] in hundredths of a cup. Shared quantity and bias cancel between two events, leaving [−2,2] event noise.

These are bounds conditional on the stated premises, not normal distributions or probability estimates. Distinct slots do not prove statistical independence.

Root 0: quantity identity, description reuse and repeated participation. Root 1: shared bias and separate observation events.

This file constructs the connected structure. The validation driver selects reads, actions and bindings for the stepped experiment; parsing this text alone does not run the sequence.
